Ray Erskine Parker Jr., geboren am 1. Mai 1954 in Detroit, ist ein US-amerikanischer Gitarrist, Komponist und Produzent. Seinen Ruhm verdankt er größtenteils der Titelmusik zum Film "Ghostbusters – Die Geisterjäger". Mitte der 1970er war Parker Hilfsmusiker in Barry Whites „Love Unlimited Orchestra“. 1977 gründete er die R&B-Band „Raydio“. Er erschien kurz im Film „Uptown Saturday Night“ als Gitarrist. Außerdem schrieb Parker Stücke für und arbeitete mit der Band Rufus, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Leon Haywood, den Temptations, The Spinners, Rhythm Heritage und Gladys Knight and the Pips.
